When selecting the Color of the Year Pantone combs the globe looking for color influences. They look to the pop culture, film, popular travel destinations, socio-economic conditions, organic elements, art, fashion and much more.
The Color of the Year has a great deal of influence on products and purchasing decisions made that year in a variety of industries from fashion, industrial design, product packaging, graphic design, and home goods.
This spring the colors are fun and playful, complex and distinct, along with a classic flair. Our prints and solids will always reflect current trends and keep your little ones "on trend".
Cotton is natural, soft, absorbent and comfortable, a great fabric for prints.
Cotton is thousands of years old, it is graded by its individual fiber length, color and fineness. Fine cotton fabrics are made of longer and finer fibers, thereby giving the fabric a smooth hand and lovely drape. Fine cottons like pima and sea island are the highest quality and will generally have a higher price tag but will give you years of wear ability. Lower priced materials are usually made of heavier, fuzzier yarns that have a dull appearance and generally show signs of wear sooner.
Cotton is washable and easy to care for. You may need to iron cotton fabrics, but the beauty, comfort and softness makes the little extra care worth the years of enjoyment you will have with these beautiful fabrics.
For the best performance we suggest washing in cold water, either by hand or on a delicate cycle, mild detergent. Dry on low setting, removing garment from dryer while slightly damp and hang to complete drying. Ironing will be minimal if garments are not left sitting at the end of wash and drying cycles.
Enjoy your purchase and be sure to contact us if you have any question about your garment care.
